This looks, tastes, and feels more like an imperial porter, but the 12% ABV suggests an imperial stout.

Either way, it’s good, but has some rough edges. After visiting the brewery/taproom last week, I’m excited to see where these guys go next - and how they get there.

 

How’s that? Saw the mix pack today.

 

My last Toppling Goliath Citroid. Lots of sediment in this particular can, which I didn’t experience with the others. Still tasting excellent, though.

I concur! To actually have been there would have been mind blowing !

 

Well, it's not bad. Not at all what I was expecting. Was thinking this would be like an IPL but it drinks much like an IPA to me which isn't the worst thing in the world. It's a decent beer but I'm not sure I'd know this was something markedly different than a regular IPA if they didn't tell me.
