This is stellar. Uber Joe from the fine folks at 3 Sheeps Brewing in lovely Sheboygan Wisconsin. Bottled in 2019, the coffee has faded off a bit as expected but the other flavors just shine. Vanilla, cherry, chocolate, toasted barrel, sweet tobacco and bourbon. The mouthfeel is exquisite. May be the most complex version of this beer I’ve had. Nice job, Nate! @scream !

My first beer from Allagash....at 9.5% I'd call this a "sessionable" BA stout.
    3.73/5 rDev -4.6%
    look: 3.75 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.75
Bottled 08/25/21. Poured a clear dark brown, small khaki head that's gone in a flash, no lacing. Snot factory says roasted malts, a bit of toffee, taste buds say there's some vanilla in there, maybe a hint of bourbon. Texture was a bit thin and watery for the style. As BA stouts go, I would call this "sessionable ".

Milk Stout but still posting here
Can't pick up any coffee from this because of rhe overwhelming sweet milk chocolate flavor, bit it does have a strawberry soderrr finish
Not something i would ever get myself cuz im wayyy too sensitive to sweetness in beer( as we all know by now) but i still appreciate getting shit like this sent

    Thanks @basaywhat

Fantastic stout from Ogopogo in San Gabriel. "Q", a stout aged for 11 months in Woodford Reserve and Heaven Hill barrels. Comes in at 13% ABV. Incredible.

    This shit is pretty decent
I myself wouldn't go as far as calling it incredible but it is a good shelfie that cost 8 bucks for 16oz here and the watercolor and oil artwork is always fantastic on them!

My first time participating in this thread, tonight it’s a 4 year old bottle of St Ambrose “bourbon aged” RIS:

It’s a cool, rainy night tonight, which is a welcome break from the hot, humid weather we’ve had the past couple of weeks. Which prompted a trip to the cellar for something that was a change from all the lagers and witbiers I’ve consumed lately.

A quickly receding head left a nice collar which has lingered as I’ve worked my way through the glass. Some bourbon on the nose, lots of dark fruits, tobacco, and a general sweetness. Mouthfeel is full and sticky. A bit of a sour twang when cold, which disappeared as it warmed. Taste is bourbon, figs, maybe licorice. Reminds me a bit of the Guinness West Indies Porter and Foreign Extra Stout I enjoyed in Ireland a few weeks ago. Overall, holding up nicely!
