Fall Beer Sightings (2022)

Jacks Abby Copper Legend hit distro. It's such a great beer

 

Flying Dog Brewery (MD) steps up with their seasonal offering:

 

Did you not notice that they already stock gloves and thermal underwear?
I also saw it, but took a pass for a variety of reasons.

 

Did you get a hat instead?

 

No, but if they had a shirt in this pattern...

 

Same re. last year. I only saw cans, both the liter cans with associated mug and the half-liter cans (singles and 4-packs) without.

 

Those I've never seen. Eyes open.

 

... So steam them and cover them in Old Bay?

 

I picked up a couple 4-packs last year, plus some singles. All half-liter cans. (The singles were from 4-packs that had been broken apart).

I must admit that I prefer Tucher's Festbier (among some others) and will be keeping an eye out for that.

 

Don’t know if it’s been mentioned but it looks like Sam Adam’s made the festbier available in 6 and 12 packs on its own this year.

I didn’t try last year because of the variety pack dilemma, hope to give it a go this year.

Spotted these three at TW tonight:

 

Still haven't seen any Sam fall seasonal stuff -- odd because they're usually the first I see.

 

Same in my area and I think it is because they still had stacks of the summer stuff that did not sell well at all this year. But I was in one store the other day and they were tearing the display down so the SA Fall packs will be out soon.

 

I thought the same thing, but I remember seeing both BBC seasonals on shelves together last year. Maybe just not as much left over last year?

 

I believe some people were saying last year that it was available as 6-packs in their locales.

 

That was the rumor, but I never saw it.

I have the feeling the local distro didn't order any. They carry a couple imports and probably thought they had enough Oktoberfest beers.

Of course, I never saw that Fall Pack, either.
