Happy Friday! Just something easy to drink while the pizza is cooking.
I’ve listened to this album so much this week you’d think I worked on it.

 

Not as that this my last Blue Moon Light Sky. I had a family member leave a bunch of these over. These taste like an artificial peach. It’s less offensive than regular Blue Moon (aka Orange Fanta).

 

Going with The Destroyer so this will likely be my last of the evening.

Troegs Lucky Holler Hazy IPA - I am a fan of Troegs hazy IPAs and while I enjoy Field Study I do give the nod to this one, particularly because there's no dreaded Mosaic in it Also, first time in a while that Troegs has two shelf beer seasonals* out, as they released their Oktoberfest as a standalone this year...I have always enjoyed that beer and will be picking some of that up also.

Pours a dark orange with a generous head, nice and hazy. Smell is fruit and more fruit. Taste is wonderful and nice and fruity, crisp, not bitter but not overly sweet either and a really good balance here. Yep, still ranks up there for me as far as hazies go. Budmo!

*As in six packs and 12 packs (both bottles and cans) and not a bigger DIPA.

She's pretty talented - if you look her up you'll see that she wrote a lot of #1 hits for other artists. She basically stopped performing and started writing instead. There's been rumors of her coming back for years, I think she did a concert in 2019 0r 2020 but I'm not sure. I think she's great, one of my guilty pleasures.
