    Good morning BAs! Many of you know I’m a morning drinker, and it’s 8am here in England, so let’s get this Tuesday going - Brew By Numbers’ “VIIII” an IPA collab with L’Ermatage:

    Pale opaque gold; fast fizzy white head; poor cap retention; thin ring; a few tiny spots of lace. Grapefruit nose. Light bitter grapefruit pith; firm malt base; lemony finish. Medium body; kinda soft feel feel leaning juicy; no warmth from 6.8% abv; no astringency. Overall a good tasting beer with a mild bitter citrus linger; an enjoyable IPA from one of my favorite UK brewers.

    Wandered about Winchester yesterday with Mrs. Z…re-visited the Great Hall built 1222 by King Henry III; inside hangs The Round Table constructed between 1250 and 1280 (by carbon dating):

    Always an interesting visit, and I enjoy reading up on the history. Much needed rain is forecast for the day, so we will likely stay home and relax. Cheers and have a terrific Tuesday y’all!

    Good morning BAs! Thanks @DoctorZombies for starting today's thread! Enjoy the UK - it's tied with Germany (and Texas) as my favorite travel destination! I love hanging with the ichthyosaurs (many found by Mary Anning) in the National History Museum and visiting Hampton Court. The Vic and Albert is also a lot of fun. Several trips we've never left London. Never been to Winchester - maybe the next trip!

    Yesterday it threatened to rain all day - distinctly chilly and cloudy - typical PA summer weather! We pickled zucchini yesterday - eight pints of fresh zukes. Tomatoes are starting to turn orange, bitter melons are now about half-grown.

    Today's New Breakfast Beer has potential for me to start a vertical sampling but I know better - I'd end up horizontal!

    I picked up six of these on-line since the brewery is closed. Really unimpressed but eight years old is pushing it, even for a barleywine. Rating 3.3, rDev -20.3%

    Another reason to post a beer this early-this one catapulted itself into my top two or three songs of the year after a couple of listens yesterday. Enjoy.

    Not like losing a cat or a dog but with this summer heat my fishes tank has become incredibly dull too… :slight_frown: Lost about ten fishes just in a month and a half…
