Good afternoon, advocates. Settling in w/ The Castle (Strata) from Root + Branch. If all pale ales were like this, I would drink more. I'm spoiled, yet thankful. Cheers!

Tiger, a Euro Lager from Singaporean brewery Asia Pacific Brewery (5%).

Not a great beer, but I wanted that country tick. Surprisingly drinkable for what it is though, quite crisp and refreshing, making for a decent lawnmower beer.

Getting into some Great Notion. I don't drink them often, unless I'm in OR. Funny thing is I was asked earlier if I wanted a can. Right as that was being asked, my daughter texted me. She lives in OR. So, naturally, I said yes. Super Over Ripe. Peace...

I hear you. For the sake of ticking I sometime just buy a more random beer I have no clue about and it may be occasionally a pleasant surprise.

Japan for instance isn’t a hard country to tick, because Asahi but I managed in the past to find some outstanding craft from there too.

I know for sure I’m never ticking the 50 US States though, some southern states even for other Americans are near impossible to tick unless a trade or trip is planned.

The long quest to beer is still interesting.

Yeah, I once got lucky enough for someone to send me a whole box of Japanese craft beers, which were mostly great and there even was a Happoshu in there, one of the hardest styles to tick! I've actually been to Japan a few times, but that was all before I discovered my love for craft beer. I mostly drank Kirin and Asahi down there, what a waste!
