A busy hump day. Finished off Childhoods End by Arthur C Clarke Finally. Had taste for Taco bell so I got a regular and spicy double steak grilled cheese burritos with 3 soft taco supreme. I will definitely get the spicy one again, it has jalapenos. the amount of nacho cheese and rice seemed to vary between the two, unsurprisingly. I wanted a quesarito but it was online only, so it looks like I am getting more soon lol. Still a massive amount of cheese. Will buy again.


Deep River Mango Tango Foxtrot. Over carbonation pour. Lasting fluffy head retention and soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, mango, melon, passion fruit, berries, citrus peel/rind, citrus oil, cedar, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toast, herbal, floral, grass. Large sized pine, citrus rind, herbal, woody, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky/resinous hops in the mouthfeel. Long resinous lingering drying finish. Mild astringency and warmth of 5.7%. Great all around west coast style feel with Citra, Galaxy, Amarillo. Very vibrant, dank, and earthy hops with a balanced malt backbone. Doesn't feel as juicy as I expected, much more aggressive on pine/earthy notes. Minimal complaints. 3.98

Trying 2 diff local beers (I hail from Indpls)

1st one I really like after a long hot day is a cold refreshing orange vanilla sunlight creme ale from sun king brewery. This is 5.3% I believe.


The 2nd is another local 'patio cat summer ale w/guava (I don't know - it's good. But it just tastes like slight grapefruit like the 'rhinegist truth' I rather have the sun king.this is listed at only 4.5%


I also picked up the 'steel reserve 211 - I've tried both incl their watermelon and love those beers. It's a whopping 8.1% which my preferred range.
