Enjoying the last of my 3 Floyd's Dreadnaught, 9.4% - this was phenomenal even at 5 months (Total Wine had 4-packs for $11), it has a real Hopslam vibe with big pine that makes you say "whoa!"

Such a flavorful West Coast style D-IPA. Showin' some Indiana love and working on some guitar parts, 'gotta be on my "A" game in the morning.

Forget Me Not, west coast IPA and a S. O. S., scotch ale

 

I can't believe I'm drinking Sam adams. Let this one warm up a bit folks and it's a winner yes indeed

 

Southern Grist Pilsner hopped with Nelson. Almost taking on an olive character today. Huge fluffy white head. Lots of cracker and sweet corn. Decent but the olive flavor is off putting today. What’s up with that? Cheers.

I gave my friend cash for my Green Bay Packers ticket today, so I am officially going to Cannibal Corpse/Dark Funeral, the greatest possible concert tour combination for me, then the next day traveling directly to Lambeau Field for the return of Mike McCarthy, along with his Dallas Cowboys. In anticipation of that monumental weekend in November, I am drinking a local Octoberfest beer in a local brewery's glass. Paired with local death metal.

 

Starting it off with Hidden Hand Life in the Hive IPA w/ wildflower honey (Citra, Talus, Eclipse). I've heard good things about this brewery, so finally pulled the trigger on a can. Ripe navel orange and tangerine, orange peel, pine, floral, passionfruit, some cedar, light honey. Really nice soft, pillowy mouthfeel. A good first impression.

Onto round 2 and staying with themes today. Backwoods Bastard is a lovely follow-up to the Wee-Heavy-Er i had earlier, a nice touch of bourbon to the nice base Wee-Heavy beer.
Listening to another CSN tune long not heard.
