Philipsburg Five Phantoms Pumpkin Spice Barleywine (2019)

Best when the leaves or snow are falling but I have a stash and am craving after seeing all of these fall beers enter the conversation.

 

Stone 26th Anniversary TDH DIPA (100% Centennial). Been a minute since I've had an anniversary beer by Stone, but when I saw this one is brewed to be an imperialized version of Stone IPA, I had to check it out. It just screams old school, with notes of orange marmalade, orange zest, yellow grapefruit, lemon, big resinous pine, big herbaceous dank, caramel, and some toffee. Balanced, but has a huge hop character and bitterness as expected. I enjoy it, but I think I prefer the single version.
@TheIPAHunter you're known to dabble in Stone IPA here and there...I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this one if you ever happen to come across it.

Thunderstorms chased us off the beach this afternoon, but hey - an Adroit Theory EBK was waiting for me in the beer fridge! Things work out according to a grand plan, apparently.

Happy Saturday ba. Got the fridge stocked w/ beer & food and I ain’t going nowhere till Monday. Oh…forever, ddh iipa, oh. Tangy tropical/stone fruit notes with good flow. Decent stuff but it wouldn’t be in my favorites of them.

Long day - just got home from the Antique and Classic Boat Show I do here every year - great day for it and everything worked out great with my little boat restoration.....some pics from the many boats (and cool cars too!) there today....

Happy birthday, Alex Lifeson ! Good Afternoon! Even though I didn’t go to work today, I’ve been working all day! Wash, wax, and detail the wife’s car , then clean and filled the bird feeders. I thought it would be a couple of hours; I was way off. Anyway, time to enjoy a tasty collaboration from one of NY state’s finest!

 

Back home in NJ drinking a Kane Wax Comb IPA but thinking fondly of the lovely town and people of Dildo.

 

Brew Dog Fellowship hazy IPA....much better than the last one.....
