    So we did a thing. Ten years of Fou'Foune from 2011-2020. They were all really similar with differing levels of fruit and acidity except for the 2015, which was super funky and smelled like an old dusty attic. We had eleven people on this and eight of the ten vintages received a vote for best in show.

    look: 4 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.75

    Crystal clear, pale yellow body; moderate carbonation; thick, sudsy, white head, some sticky fingers of foam line the glass. Pleasant, unassuming aroma of gentle malt presence with a tiny note of herbal hop presence. Plain tasting as far as the malt and grain go; moderate hop bitterness; a slight sense of lime. Light body; lager smooth; very mild sweetness; finishes semi-dry.

    Generally a nicely balanced adjunct lager. It delivers great looks with a somewhat bland flavor but with a nice hop bitterness kick. Nothing exceptional, but makes for a great warm weather thirst quencher.

    Sadly, you can't drive down Fremont Street, and the Stardust, The Riviera, Desert Inn, Westward Ho, Pioneer Club, Las Vegas Club and many other one time great casinos are no longer there.

    Kicked off the annual Summit Metroparks Fall Hiking spree here this morning (the longest running and largest in the US)....just beautiful

    I picked up some Quattro Kush and some ZKittles Kief for this evening. The Kush smells like the Buddha grass I used to get in Thailand, really intoxicating aroma.

    I had that one with my online order of 3 Monts some time ago. Great beer. I liked that somewhat bitter taste too. Do you find this in the supermarket in France?

    Yes indeed, in a Carrefour supermarket in this town.
    I didn’t even check the price but any beer in a large supermarket like that sold as single cannot be more than 3€. A great deal for a great beer.
    And I never even heard of it before, although I’m quite fond of 3 Monts.

    Years ago when I was an avid golfer I always noticed that golfers tossed their butts just about everywhere, or left them in the carts. I thought of a good product, The Butt Hole(TM), which could be attached several places in any cart. I didn't think of where they might go other than the trash barrels.

    5 month old Exposure by Nightmare Brewing. Tastes pretty great for being this old, the malt backbone is good. 30 dollars a 4 pack is still wild to me but I guess I did it anyways lol.
