I’ve said it before, but I’d be willing to pay a small premium to have beers in smaller formats than 750s. The ability to open them on completely separate days is much more valuable to me. The ability to have 2 experiences over 1 trumps 1 experience every time for me. If I want both, I can have that if in a smaller format, but the opposite isn’t true. It’s way easier for me to spend $80 on 4 beers that are each 375 than $80 on 2 beers that are each 750.

Only if its barrel aged. While CSV is a pretty good coffee stout, I wouldn't pay $70 for a six pack of anything non barrel aged.

A hypothetical 6 pack of 12oz cans at $70 would be a cheap $/oz ratio than the current 750ml bottle at $25. I get your principle, but if you were to buy 3 bottles of CSV (which I do every time), a 6 pack at $70 or even $75 is basically the same thing. Except now I’ll feel better the next day opposed to groggy after solo doming a bomber of CSV.

Makes sense and I can see the appeal if you would normally buy multiple bottles much like yourself. Personally though, I think $25 for the 750ml they already charge is a bit high for something non-barrel aged.

I would be for this as well if the pricing matched the smaller size. I could be wrong but haven't they all been right there with the cost of the 750's so far?

The only ones released so far were double or triple barreled I believe, with one being $50 and one being $60. But you’re correct, the pricing model and predictions no longer make sense and it’s impossible to guess what they would be. I realize that I still waste money on this terrible hobby, but I would just enjoy smaller formats to drink on my own.

Thankfully there is no cinnamon being used. Hopefully the addition of the maple syrup doesn't make it overly sweet

also, i was thinking about this “BA Coconut Stout” day for the brewery anniversary (because i’d like to make it either Sunday or Monday) and if they’re tapping 3 BA coconut stouts, unless there is something new in the mix, then the choices are D8, D12 and BA CV right? i don’t recall any other BA coconut stouts from SP or Shared. @Heisenbrew ?

also, i did come up with 3 candles that also had coconut in it but i believe that’s been gone for some years now.

Bubble Wrap had so much in it that i’d hardly call it a “coconut stout” - same goes for D12 honestly. DM was a big oversight on my part.
