Best By Date 12/9/24. Poured at 52°. Opaque black with ruby edges; fizzy dark tan head; poor cap retention; fizzy band of spotty lace, and medium legs on swirl. Roast malt nose with just a whiff of whiskey. Bitter roast malt, licorice, bittersweet dark chocolate; spicy currants and a little vanilla as it warms; no whiskey flavors. Medium body, light carbonation; no warmth from 9.4% abv; dry barrel tongue coating. Overall, sharp bitter roast linger; multiple layers of base and barrel flavors, which sadly do not include whiskey.

Hello Advocates! Thank you @Peach63 for todays thread. Kind of a saucy start to the day for me. I thought I'd knock down a hand full of EZ brews for rating. Some domestic & some Mexican lagers. So I go to the little store closest to my house and the owner would not accept my coins. My late friend Tobin's coins that he left me. I'm talkin' like 20 bucks in quarters here and no pennies. In fact he started layin' into me, cursing & such. "I don't want that F'n shit. Ya know how long it's gonna take me to count out all that shit?" Obviously powerfully stupid. I could have easily walked right out but I smiled, used my CC and bought the beer. Fucktard just lost a good customer cause they'll never see me again. I didn't deserve that and need a beer after dealing with that shower. Modelo Especial. Salute!

 

Damn that's fucked up! Most places I go to with change are happy to take it. Less change they have to break open.
