    Thanks Vann. he actually was one of the lucky ones that survived, thousands didn't make it. His parents got a call Christmas Eve that he was MIA.

    Between forced marches & a very cold winter, he was lucky to survive. The Reich had no resources they felt like they needed to devote to humane treatment of POWs at that time.

    I tried to layer these but guessed wrong about the Stone being denser at 9.7% vs FES at 7.5%

    Thunderhead's Low Pressure Pale Ale..........Very nice pale ale, lighter, but still a good amount of flavor, with cereal notes coming out the strongest.

    My Dad always said that, he said the guards were ill equipped and had very little food too. He said if they weren't so sick they probably could have just walked out of the camp.
