I actually did that on accident. Meant to say Fall and Winter came out probably because I was thinking of Winter seasonals lol.

Hopefully Schells doesn't dump theirs for a pastry stout replacement or something. It wouldn't surprise me if they are indeed dropping their hefe for them to dump the bock for a candy cane, starburst maple pecan whipped cream latte stout or something. As long as it sells better right?

Jayzus -- my brother just told me he saw 2022 Anchor OSA at the Kenosha, WI Woodman's.

    Way too freakin' early.

Picked up a few recently. The Left Hand might not be a winter seasonal but I am pretty sure the rest are.

I just bought it this week in Hawaii. We're usually the last to get it so if you haven't seen it in your area yet then your probably missed it. I posted the bottle pic in the beer review.

I had also bought the Costco beer advent a month ago for the first time and there was a big stack of it. When I went back two weeks later it was all gone. That surprised me on how early it came and maybe why I kept missing it in the past since I only looked for it closer to Christmas. And no I won't be waiting until December to start drinking it. More than half is gone already.

Has anyone been to Trader Joe's and seen their Winter Doppelbock? Really enjoyed that one last year.

I’m pretty excited for holiday and winter beers! I went the last few years without Great Divide’s Hibernation Ale so I want to be sure to pick some up this winter. I also enjoy ST’s Old Man Winter ale as well. There’s a few out there I’ve been eyeing for years but never tried….like Samuel Smiths Winter Welcome…I’ll definitely pick some up this winter.

I just saw the Samuel Adams "Beers for Cheers" winter variety pack at Costco, for $28.99. It's got:

    Boston Lager
    Old Fezziwig
    Winter Lager
    Holiday White Ale
    Cold IPA (labeled as "New")
    Black Lager

The only thing in there worth drinking is Old Fezziwig. And after the way that they've messed up the recipe for their Octoberfest and Winter Lager, I'm afraid of trying Old Fezziwig and ruining my fond memories of it.

I also saw today at a local Chicago grocery store Great Lakes Christmas Ale, for $13.99. As much as I hate buying Christmas beers before even November, I had to pick up a 6-pak.

Let the games begin! St. Bernardus Christmas out, 750s, cans, bottles (some already in my fridge). Samuel Smith's Winter Welcome (ditto). Mad Elf pallets up the wazoo in the grocery stores. Heavy Seas Winter Storm back this year. Chouffe 'Nice at TW. I'm ready.
