Another local brewer's take on Märzen.

A tad thin and watery with a pinch too much on the hopping. Overall this one's certainly enjoyable tho!

So glad to see many hands attempting one of my fave styles.

Been to two Budweiser breweries, in Saint Louis, MO and the one in Busch Gardens. Tampa, FLA. Hopeful everyone in Florida makes it OK, especially our regulars at the virtual bar.

May return tonight with a few from the local bar.

 

Happy hump day ba. A little half day for myself so why not get into it? Magnetic compass, ipa- rakau, mosaic, citra, columbus- Grimm. Nicely fruity hop juice with subtle bitterness. Good notes of peach, mango, and melon,

 

Grabbing a burger to fortify myself for the night ahead and enjoying this 11th Anniversary Kane Head High.

Visiting Highland Brewing in Asheville. Flight:

1. Clawhammer Marzen
2. Festbier
3. Gaelic Amber
4. Oatmeal Porter

Not a bad one in the bunch. Clawhammer is still my favorite but the Festbier was a close second. Very cool taproom and outdoor area. Weather is perfect. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

 

Enjoying a Green Man Demon Dwellar Mexican Lava Cake. The BBA beer, and the Cocoa nibs and cinnamon meld nicely together. Nice dessert beer before dinner LOL!
Heard a little Stevie Wonder earlier from Songs In The Key of Life which was part of my growing up in Saginaw, MI, which also was Stevie's birthplace. Very nice video which is a great tribute to the artists i have enjoyed over the years!

My cousin & her husband live in Punta Gorda. They went to Ft. Lauderdale. A tornado hit near where they are and they had to shelter in the hotel bathtub. Crazy stuff. Praying for you guys.

As I cannot yet find this year's Ayinger, I'm feeling very fortunate to have lots of this available.
