Its always a little disappointing when you spend money on music and its not up to par for you. Though thats also part of the beauty of owning an actual physical copy of something. You spent time to figure out when that CD was going to be available, spent your own money on it. Either went to the store or waited for it to be shipped, found a place to put it on the shelf, then listened to it to form an opinion. Good or bad. Then you might even come back to it after some time, and you either change your mind, or your opinion is reaffirmed. With streaming, it goes in one ear and out the other without registering, and you can do that endlessly, without really registering anything. At least thats my experience ha.

Of coarse you only have so much space and so much allocated to spend, so that also either makes the great music that much better, or the the bad music that much worse ha. Anyway, done with my physical music rambling

A favorite seasonal. Picked up 8 Wet Hopped Head Hunters as well today plus KBS Mackinaw Fudge. My wallet is definitely lighter, but I'm stocked up. Cheers all!

Enjoying some Sips of Sunshine beside my new home made fire pit - we used this fine piece of polished slate as a surface for a tabletop shoot this week - after the shoot it was headed for the dumpster (believe it or not) - so much of the work we do for film shoots is made from premium materials - and unfortunately it's too cost prohibitive to re-use or recycle or to keep in storage - so a lot of premium wood (it has to be smooth and straight) painted with premium paint and other 'premium' materials end up in the dumpster - I envisioned a backyard fire pit as a new life for this premium piece of stone - Cheers!

 

Not heard than more than a song. Will have to wait & see

Yeah. At least we are both drinking that beer outside in this beautiful weather. Now we just have to manage watching the Milwaukee Brewers willingly hand the postseason, and a shot at redemption against the St. Louis Cardinals, to the Philadelphia Phillies, who seem more than willing to let the Milwaukee Brewers have the final postseason berth.

 

Congrats, nice win on the road. My niece is a Freshman cheerleader for Illinois, so it’s not all bad for me. I’m pretty sure Beilema would still be HC at Wisco if he hadn’t tried his hand at SEC football. Cheers!

Oh yeah agreed, and I hope Nebraska doesn't come calling next year with a huge pay check for him...honestly have no idea if that will happen but on some level wouldn't surprise me.

 

I was rummaging through some drawers in my basement today and came across an envelope that has all of my old concert ticket stubs! What a time warp going back and remembering (or trying to) these shows! First up is Pink Floyd at JFK stadium 9/19/87. Equlibrium, “Four Fours” 4 way collaboration!
