It's on tap at High Street Market in the Financial District. Had one this afternoon.

 

Is the Festbier significantly better on draft?

 

I don’t know if I’d use “significant”, it’s still delicious from the can, but it’s lacking that creamy mouthfeel.

 

Had a can last night and then on draft tonight. Tasted exactly the same to me.

 

Festbier canned might be the closest to draft I've had from Notch, not sure I could tell the difference

 

I just had the opportunity to visit Notch a couple weekends ago while in Salem and I've gotta say, it was refreshing to have mostly low ABV DELICIOUS Lagers on tap. I'd love to go back and try more of theirs so I went for a liter of The Standard and loved every bit of it.

 

Still had Festbier in cans in Brighton as of last night, picked up 2 - 4 packs

 

My co-worker picked some up in Salem, NH too.

 

Saw a bunch at Fort Point yesterday.

Brighton menu doesn’t list the Dunkel on tap, but there’s German Afternoons!

I'm seeing second rounds of it hitting NH. I'm surprised at how much they're sending.

I also saw Session Pils out and about. The canning date was a "drink by" instead of "canned on". Does anyone know how many months out they suggest? I just want to make sure moving forward I end up grabbing fresher cans.

 

I wonder what the balance was between cans and drafts. The bar staff at Brighton mentioned that this was a big batch of Festbier relative to the prior year so they thought it would stick around on draft for a while. Obviously wasn’t the case.
