Yes. It showed up on shelfs here in Michigan a couple of weeks. As good as ever. Mid-September bottle date.

Bells october 5th Facebook post says they’ll be Brewin hopslam twice this year, so I guess that means it hits markets this week, and against after the new year?

 

I wonder if that should have said 'only twice this year' (or more correctly this release period). I've always been under the impression that they brewed it 3-4 times in order to try to keep fresh stuff in the pipeline. I'm pretty sure that I've seen multiple bottling/canning dates in the past, but that's different from brewing dates. I don't recall where I got that info, but I think it will take an insider to let us know the schedule.

 

Twice this year would be this past January and this month, twice in 2022.

 

I see how you’re reading it. But I don’t think that’s what bells meant. I think they’ll brew another batch near the end of 2022, and release it in January like they always have. This early release appears to be a new strategy to get hopslam into the hands of customers before New Years resolutions happen in the new year. I don’t think it means they are planning on scrapping that January release though. I guess we’ll have to wait and see

 

Check the news releases part of the forum. That is 100% precisely what they are doing. They said it was due to dry January cutting into sales, so they are moving it.

Had a couple flurries yesterday and today in the south Cleveland suburbs. A little slushy accumulation forecast for tonight.

 

Having a 9/7/22 Expedition right now...yeah, the new owners haven't fucked this one up yet. Fantastic, as usual.

 

I think it's been at my Binny's for a couple weeks, I just haven't grabbed a 6 pack yet. Been more focused on the wet hop stuff. Prolly grab one the next time I'm in there now that I'm seeing it's as good as it normally is.

 

I might have to actually trade for some Expo this year…
