So, I've never had continuance. Was always out of reach, but always wanted to try. Looks like B1 was a blend of stout and BW. Blend 2 was BW w/ vanilla (and cinnamon? :astonished:). Now it looks like B3 is just a blend of barleywines (well, if you consider ryewine to be barleywine-like).

They describe Continuance as a "Series of blended imperial stouts, bvarleywines and other spirit barrel-aged beers". At first I thought this was a copy/paste error, but I guess they are speaking to the series as a whole, which is kind of confusing in combination with the description of this blend.

    Pretty excited and pretty cool.

in preparation of getting more open spaces, i opened one up last night. cracked it straight from the cellar. no fridge time and let me tell you, i’ll never drink open spaces any other way ever again. made all the difference in the world. cherry, grape and chocolate notes. i thought it toned down the acidity. i will also admit that i didn’t come close to finishing the bottle so i can report back tonight (and maybe even tomorrow) about how that’s going but that’s my open spaces pro tip. take it or leave it. cheers!

it’s essentially the Pulling Nails of their clean program. this newest batch was described as “BBT but barleywine” where the blending of different bw recipes with different ages is essentially more than the sum of its parts. very much looking forward to it!

I've always been be a bigger fan of "adjunct-less" BWs and Stouts over adjuncted ones. Not having had the other 2, just looking at the description, I'm certainly most excited about this blend.

It's a pretty interesting double-barrel offering. It's Mizunara that previously held willet. Pretty interesting.
