Asking for a friend.

 

Tell your friend that you are in the same marina but a you need to move to another slip…close by…would it help if I gave some advice before providing more hints?

 

My friend is not much of a sailor (but knows his/her way around a 'toon!) so would appreciate any advice that would limit the risk of any sinking cargo you can provide.

Hint #21 - The closest point in your state to mine is called Isle Royale. It is about 15 miles or so from Minnesota. It is a National Park.

I took the tour of the ship in 2011, and loved it. Sadly, anyone who lives in this state is excluded. I did enjoy the beers from that state when I visited in 2018, and have had 10 beers from said state.

Hint #15 - The college I went to - St. Cloud State University - is in the NCHC league for Division 1 Hockey. If your state has a team in the NCHC, you're still in.

Hint #17 - Your state actually fought a war with a neighboring state over where the border lies. No one died, but one was wounded.

This contradicts some of your past hints, but I won’t dwell on it. Point being, this is a clear indicator you’re shipping to MI. I am excited about this.

 

To be quite honest, I’m lost. I’ve identified a couple that that COULD be shipping to MI. but no clear indications they are my sender specifically. In response to @Roguer’s question earlier, I haven’t eliminated you het because I don’t 100% follow your hints. Otherwhys, I have no direct reason to believe we are paired. Cheers fellas.

 

If all else fails, you can use the process of elimination: Accuse each person in turn. Eventually someone will fess up.

Trust me, I know.

 

I’m having fun following all the hints. I can wait til a box arrives to pin point the sender and be completely content.

 

Also a tactic I have used to identify my sender!
