    Update. He has contacted me and apologized, and I have a tracking number. I explained the importance of good communication in establishing a reputable trader status. It's Xmas and I'm in the forgiving mood, so lets chalk this up to a learning experience, and use this as PSA to all traders. Cheers, and thanks to all for your input.

    Wut? I met him in person at Eclipse, and he said flat-out he's the same guy. I don't know why there's a question about this.

    He's an annoying fucknut. There's a great story about his T25 line-cutting shenanigans.

    That's great, but if I were him, I'd be on this thread ASAP explaining myself. There is still an awful lot of sketchiness going on between your delay, the lack of contact, those FT/ISO's, connections to a banned user...

    I'm in the midst of a trade...and I had a bit of a delay procuring something for the trade...so I straight up told the dude that it was cool if he delayed shipment (original ships were supposed to be on Monday). I can't imagine coming in here and trying to screw people over...such a scumbag thing to do to a fellow beer lover.

    The explanations are always so fradulent so who cares what they say. They only post in the threads when they realize they've been outed. Even if they fulfil their obligations they're still shitty sketchy traders at best.

    Don't forget about his post-chussain-but-pre-h.u.s.m.c. tag "darkphoenix". Protip - if you're trying to skip out on a bad rep associated with your BA handle, it's probably best not to recycle the same exact avatar and user-info.

    Has the tracking number been updated? Its easy to make a tracking number and never actually send out the package. If I were you, I'd be checking every day and be very diligent with this guy. As others have pointed out already, this is the same guy that was spamming his cellar a while ago and exhibits all the warning signs of a bad trader (posting multiple ISO's for wales all the time, seeking/trading the latest/greatest releases, bad communication while still posting in the forums, etc.). I wish you the best with the trade but honestly, if you've been paying attention to the trade forums, you should've known to avoid this guy like a bad habit.

    I'll keep track of it for sure. To be honest, my concern in this whole situation was not really for my packacge, it was for the others who might have been sending out really rare stuff. I shipped one bottle. I understand the hazzards of trading and accept the potential consequences. I don't pay super close attention to the forums, given the outlandish trade offers and constant bickering, I just scroll through. Also, if this thread can help drive home the idea that good communication is paramount, with new traders, or experienced one's, then we're all better off.

    Would ripping off a known bad trader who has started a new account land someone on the bad traders list? :grimacing:

    Yes, it would most likely land your new account created solely for this purpose using a non-ba friend's name and address for shipping on the bad trader list. Hypothetically speaking.

    FWIW, the BA in question on this thread BM'd me asking about RareR release. He said his uncle was picking up the bottles and sending them to him for xmas. Don't know the dude nor have I traded with him tho.
