Favorite beer name

Butternuts Porkslap Pale Ale is a good one along with Bluepoint's Hoptical Illusion. I also like Brooklyn Black Ops for a stout.

ninja vs unicorn. bought on the sole basis of the name and the label!

 

Big fan of some of the New England "first name" names, like Abner, Zoe, Ephraim, whatever. It feels homey.

Also I love Dark Lord as a name, possibly influenced by my current reading of Lord of the Rings.

But my favorite name ever for a beer: Hell's Black Intelligencer. Richard II was a total dick and Shakespeare really got it right in those three words.

 

Alpine's Nelson. Just because its my name. Never had it though, dont get Alpine here in PA

 

I'm in on the Defenestration - thus far it has been both my favorite beer name as well as my favorite threat against my person by an educator (a monk, no less)

 

id like to also add Delirium Tremens... being in the medical field the DTs is a very real thing and definitely an ironic name for a beer.

 

Pretty much all of Three Floyds, I mean cmon; Zombie Dust, Behemoth, Arctic Panzer Wolf, Dark Lord, Dreadnaught, need I go on? haha

I also love all the names that hair of the dog gives their beers....adam, fred, blue dot, etc.

 

Sucks.

Told it's own story. Only thing that would suck about that beer is them not brewing it again, year round with next day service to my door.

Brooklyn had a beer they called Brooklyner Keller Helles in their draught only "Brew Master's Reserve" series a couple of years ago- the bartender at my local kept calling it "Helen Keller".

 

Flying Dog brewing has some good ones like Raging Bitch,Doggie stlye,Pearl necklace. Othernames I like are Rastafa Rye andSexual Chocolate.
