That is the $25 4oz pour question that remains to be answered, isn't it?

    According to untappd, yes. ‘13, ‘19, ‘20 & ‘22 were all bottled.

Would love to see a picture of this. They did weird numbering on the vanilla bean assassin bottles, and theres not a single picture of it on untappd. Pretty confident only 19, which was released with 2020 assassin, and now 22, which was the most recent, have been released in bottle publicly at least. With the exception of the old ghost whale bottle of course

Coming up for Stout Stock on Saturday - suggestions for a place or two to grab dinner? Something can't miss that's local, as I doubt I'll be back in Iowa any time soon thereafter. Appreciate the suggestions.

Depends on what you’re looking for rubaiyat is like a fine dining really good food and tap list. T bocks is a good burger place with good tap list. Mabes is a decorah pizza staple which is usually super busy but good

I'll be by myself so probably not fine dining - but the other two sound great - beers at Mabes too? Or stick to T-bocks

Beers at mabes too but better tap list at t bocks. Obviously TG has a decent kitchen too but I’d probably hit up t bocks night before instead of going there twice. I know they have some newer restaurants but it’s been a while since I’ve eaten downtown. Coffee and breakfast in the morning at impact is always a treat

Rubaiyat is not fine dining, though it is more akin to an American Italian family restaurant in vibe. It has a bar, and the place will be fairly rowdy during a TG release weekend.

Sorry, but the food in Decorah isn't very good. Definitely lower your expectations first before you step foot there, then you'll be fine.

People, let's just be real here, c'mon.

Safehouse Saloon had the best food anywhere nearby, IMO, but it's 45 minutes east.

Safehouse will have the best tap list and Togo beer in the area for sure and the owner is a really cool dude, but best food in the area is about as far a stretch as it is away from decorah.

Yeah not saying it's anything to write home about, but for me it just hits the spot that every other place in Decorah doesn't quite manage to. I'm sure most locals around town cook at home pretty much every night of the week, aside from the Luther college kids, who are what the town seems to aim at.

I will be the first to say there food is always hit and miss but what a great beer oasis. Reminds me of the first place I ever had TG, The Hideaway in Chaseburg. Nothing better than finding world class beer in a nowhere tiny town. RIP to the Hideaway unfortunately.

If you're still on Decorah on Sunday morning Magpie Cafe is good. Google says they are temporarily closed, but their website seems to be current.

Too bad about the Courtyard & Cellar too, they held some nice bottle share events.

For anyone that is going to stout stock and is lucky enough to score a 19 KBBS with their scratcher hit me up! Motivated to trade for one.
