Honestly at its age I expected worse. Really these seem to hold up well. Can definitely tell they’re well made.

 

Yeah I think that's the thing that bothers me much more than the cheating itself. The fact that they faced absolutely no repercussions, but not only that, the audacity to then turn around and play the victim because some folks dared to call them out for the biggest cheating scandal... what, since Pete Rose?

William Street Beer Co - Farmstand Lager



Pours cloudy straw very vigorous and quick rising carbonation, big puffy and white head with some staying power and initial lace.

Nose is yeasty, lemon citrus, some hefe like esters, mainly banana, with a grainy malt character.

Taste is moderately sweet, lemon citrus, banana, slightly sweet white bready malt.

Light body, verry very vigorous carbonation, finishes with a tangy like bite, with a little bitterness.

Interesting beer, it’s like some sort of hefeweizen crossed with a lemony lager. Thanks for sharing Peter; I got two on deck from you for NBW.

I got that lemony note too when I had this one. I kind of liked it, but I won’t be making any special trips to William Street for it. Cheers.

 

Terry's sent me that beer a couple of times, and I think it's simply outstanding in the classic WCIPA style. If I lived in Boundary Bay's distro area, that would be my fridge IPA. Well done, @BBThunderbolt

8% DIPA dry-hopped with Strata

Hazy orange juice liquid capped by a fat thick one finger soapy white foam layer, settles to a thick layer

Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, strawberries

Taste is grapefruit rind, grapefruit, hint of dank, hint of strawbewrry

Mouthfeel is sudsy, hop bite

Good beer

 

@woemad sent this in his LIF box and it is one of the best west coast takes on the NEIPA style I have had the chance to try. Excellent beer, thank you Fred!
