    I need hearing aids, but at my age, my ego won't allow me to pursue it. My gf says that's stupid considering the Navy will pay for them. I literally have to watch the person's lips on occasion to ensure I hear what I think I'm hearing. I've had shitty hearing since I was a kid. Had tubes twice before I was even 5 years old. Peace...

    This is one of my all-time favorite songs from Malcolm. Love how one of the verses is from the perspective of the female. I will post this w/o listening, as I don't need to go down that rabbit hole today. Miss him.

    My youngest daughter (now 33) had tubes in her ears for years because of chronic ear infections. At that same time, I developed tinnitus because of exposure to excessively loud noises (e.g. loud concerts, loud equipment as an ironworker, hunting, target shooting, lawn mowing, etc,— never wore ear protection).

    I could not bear to have the tinnitus get worse (I was already going crazy from it) so started wearing ear protection. It probably gave me two more decades of decent hearing but the damage was done. Anyway, my daughter noticed what steps I was taking to lessen more hearing damage so she would cover up her ears when she was exposed to loud noises. All worked out well for her. She has perfect hearing.

    Had the day off, but back to work tomorrow for 2 days and then long weekend. I don't drink a lot of haze these days, but this one from Wormtown is pretty decent.

    7 week old Pliny as @TheIPAHunter drinks 3 day old stuff. I can find it fresher (I’d say 3 weeks old, maybe 2), but sometimes the liquor store down the street is too simple of a trip to pass up:

    That 3-day-old is a 31 Oct bottling. Still very fresh, but nothing wrong with yours, either. I also have a 20 Oct bottling in the fridge. I'm pretty sure @beergoot can weigh in on Pliny bottling dates.
