And finally, my Keith Jarrett Bordeaux Concert has arrived. Like the Budapest Concert, recorded in 2016, but Keith had a stroke around 2018. While he has mostly recovered, he has lost the function of one of his arms completely. Which is pretty important for a piano player. Keith might just put on an avant garde one handed piano solo concert for all I know, I wouldn't put it past him. Hoping he does something like that, but these are the last two recorded concerts he has done so far...and I love them.

Also, or coarse an ECM pressing. These are always stunning.

 

Packing for surprise trip to Universal in Florida that kids have know idea about. Leaving tomorrow after work and hoping to drive through the night and sipping Friday evening with you. Trying to meet up with @Ocalafox Saturday afternoon if I can pull it off. Who knows I may sneak one in tomorrow, but not very likely. Good stuff right here. Cheers all, back to packing.

 

You seem to like your bourbon dude. I did not go back and check but this seems to be a different bourbon from your earlier bourbon.

If you were a prolific Bud drinker along with your taste for bourbon you and my 67 year old brother-in-law would be life long friends.

I even took up cigarettes thinking it would make me cool. I was not cool. I did smoke my fare share of weed though so forgot about looking cool.

 

My appreciation for this beer can’t be stated strongly enough - this is the beer that Stone does so well. The big, bold, dank, resiny bitter, dry WCDIPA that won’t let you set down your glass. This is what I want from Stone, with no apologies. World class stuff, IMHO.
