Ellis Island has ceased brewing onsite, and has shifted all brewery productions to Silver Reef Brewing company, a brewery & distillery the same Casino/Brewery owners opened in Saint George, Utah in 2018.

There are expected to be no changes in terms of beer (and Christmas Egg Nog) being available and sold under the Ellis Island brand name at The Front Yard or throughout their bars, casino and The Village Pub.

@Todd - I assume there are no changes warranted in the Ellis Island Places or Beer section, beyond the note update I submitted indicating onsite production has moved offsite to Silver Reef Brewing Company.

We might need to merged some beers, but that should be it.

Made a quick day trip to Vegas recently and made it a priority to hit Tenaya Creek. Really enjoyed it. Great variety of well-made beers. Bartender was really cool too. Thanks for the recommendation @ChicagoJ. Had lunch at Soulbelly BBQ right between HUDL and Nevada Brew Works and that was very good. And then finished off with my favorite, Able Baker!

Really glad you enjoyed your time at Tenaya Creek! It's location is isolated (same as Nevada Beer Works on Main Street north of the Beer District), so not as many people head there as to the breweries in the Beer / Arts District or on Fremont Street. Tenaya Creek and The Silver Stamp are the locations I hit the most in Vegas. Can't wait to return in February for a long trip, still may take a side trip into California if the logistics work out.

    Cheers!

Man, now I really want to go back to Las Vegas. I miss the screaming sunshine, endless blue skies, palm trees and weird mountainous desert landscapes. That place is astounding.

Oh, also, I discovered through Instagram that there's a new(ish?) convenient/liquor store called Speedee Mart that specializes in craft beer options. The selection looks fantastic, possibly better than any of the stores in Vegas, including Beer Zombies.

I’ve been to different Speedee Mart Craft Beer locations over the years. There are many more Speedee Marts in Vegas that do not offer beer beyond AALs that are not on this list:

The North Las Vegas and Summerlin (on Sahara) locations were the best I’ve been to in terms breadth of offerings, a mix of regionals, national (Bell’s, Founders, SN), locals and California beers. Always worth checking out their social media pages to see what has recently dropped.

Beer Zombies will have unique Haze, Slushies, Traditional and Kettle Sours you won’t find elsewhere in the Valley. I’ve also enjoyed their beers and collabs both canned and on draft. I’m more into traditional styles, but they always have a few beers I like available, and rare treats such as Fantome and others.

Khourey’s is my go to when I can get up to Henderson, as they have Beachwood and other breweries available I really enjoy.

    Teneya
Creek typically has good to excellent guest brewery options (on tap and to go, in addition to their in house solid offerings).

I didn't realize they were a chain. Thank you for clarifying. However, that particular location has an amazing selection!
