Oh no! It’s a catastrophe! Bought a four pack of Celebrator, one my all time favorites. First bottle erupted. I thought maybe it was jostled by me while bringing it inside, though feared the worse, given how much it blew up. Second bottle did the same thing. Damn. I’m bummed. Feel like I should get my money back here. Whom do I contact? Ayinger? The store that sold it to me? Sucks.

Consoling myself with a pint of “the future is unwritten” from small change. English dark mild and very tasty.

 

Not proud, but determined to drink every beer from our party 5 weeks ago. I am heading to my daughters play soon, catch you all later.

Finally got a day with no rain and no work, so I was able to get the outdoor lights up. Celebrating with a 2018 Anchor Christmas Ale. Now I just need to wait for it to get dark to see how it looks.

Been playing around with this one on guitar again.

 

Back at the hovel and enjoying a fine dark lager from Goldfinger "Originally brewed for our friends at Bar Chido, this dark Mexican style lager is inspired by our favorite shiny foil topped stubbies and noches buenas."


Apropos of nothing, this Iron Butterfly album absolutely had to be inspiration for Spinal Tap. So ponderous. So self serving. So bland and inappropriately over the top. Cheers.

Yeahh.... went walking over to the campus art fair, as one of my students had some works on display (prints, crochet, and... this thing). My wife saw the resemblance and insisted I get this gnome.

I agreed.

New to me beer, TRVE's Swallow the Light IPA. 7% (Idaho7 playing lead hop) and it's great. Less than 4 weeks old, too. YES. Opened it 10 minutes ago and still bubbling like Dom Perignon. Crystal-clear, perky, and all the bright Earth of Idaho7.
Yep.
