Half Acre Brewing Co (2022)

Stopped by Half Acre for lunch today, and they still have 2x4, Vanilla, and regular Benthic for sale to-go. Just an FYI since they don't update their website listings frequently.

 

Please keep the beer out of your can.

 

Sometimes it’s a good thing I don’t live in Chicago. I’d for sure have at least one extra 2-pack of 2x4 at this point. My god. And, much like the circle of life, I’m back at disappointment for not living in Chicago! GDI!

 

What are people's thoughts about today's release? Barleywine aged in single malt whiskey barrels?

 

Sounds amazing. Sad it isn't a ticketed release and I'm not driving over today to get it.

 

Anyone there know if there is any Benthic / variants left to-go still?

 

Regular Benthic, Vanilla Benthic, World of Bog, Before Land Shook, Sickle Through Sable and Orin were the BA offerings available.

 

Those were to go. Reg Benthic (only Benthic on tap), Bog, Land, and Sable were definitely on draft, with Bog also being on nitro. I think Orin was as well if memory serves.

 

$20 a 2pk according to their to-go menu.

 

All of these are still available to go; no limits on anything.

The Nelson Double Daisy might be the best beer, besides Heady, I've ever had.

 

The ba beers they've been putting out are world class. It's pretty wild that they're just sitting in the tap room. Happy to have a small stash here in FL!

 

Vanilla Benthic is still on sale. Don't remember the price...

Nelson DDC is absolutely delicious hops & I am burnt out as far as drinking hoppy beer. I would drink Nelson DDC anytime.
