    Enjoying another fine Shanex drawing to start the day. These side by sides are much easier with standard ABV beers, but science, timeliness and duty calls.

    2022 Battle of Willett Barrels

    Rye     (Lagunitas Willettized) vs. Bourbon (Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout - Single Barrel Willett)

    Tis was a very enjoyable battle to participate. Unlike last week, I’m snifter committed to finishing both beers during this session, followed by a nice nap, though still have close to half of each remaining.

    I use to enjoy it to. Fuckin shuts everything down here in Texas. People drive like ass hats in it to like it ain't snowing. I enjoy the cold weather tho. After 1-2 days I'm usually over the snow.

    Here in Richmond, we usually get two or three “snowstorms” a year but the snow is usually mostly gone after a day or two. I can deal with that.
