3 Floyds Brewing (2022)

checked again today… still no Panzer in central IL {sigh}

 

You/ area are being underserved by a few breweries it seems.

 

probably just me being impatient… that or didn’t buy enough permanent funeral to make room for the panzer wolf!

 

Aggromaster making a return.. good but not special to me. Will probably grab a couple singles though. Regular Bob is better for my taste

 

I am holding out hope that one day, Bobby Goes Camping is bottled.

 

The ZD stovepipes seem to show up fresh consistently. This is the second time I've found them at a local store like two weeks old. Each batch has been great too

 

I ordered the little 8 Oz mug with the skull logo and the paint came off in the dish washer. Lame

 

With 1 wash?

Don’t get me wrong, everyone should know that to preserve the writing, graphics etc. on glassware that you need to hand wash. Buuuuut…one wash? Wtf.

I literally saw that on their site right before I saw your post. Cool mug, but my first thought was about the utility on and 8.5 oz capacity. Is this for splitting a 16oz can or 16.9oz bottle? To small for a 12oz container and not enough people making 8oz cans.

I just looked it up. I have one of these from an A&W from 2+ decades ago. My toddler loves it and calls it her special glass. She drinks water from it almost everyday.

Never had a use for it before this, because the size is…awkward. It’s definitely more like a novelty.

 

Yep.. I've never had that happen with any other glasses including FFF ones that have been machine washed several times. Oh well..

 

You go there all the time. Call them. Ask for a replacement or a refund the next time you come up. Have them take your name so they won’t forget. Easy peasy. There is no need to live with that situation.

 

Cracked the Casino Beach last night and so have no idea what is going on with it. When cold it is a nice sweet stouts with layers of liquors that aren’t individually discernible, but make for a pleasant icing on the stout. No banana or coconut. Can’t pick out rum, but it could be there giving a subtle edge to the champagne or Sauternes. When cold it was a great sweet stout. When warm it was a bit much to choke down. At times so got Coca-Cola vibes from it. Left some in the bottle for the next night and it managed to become completely uncarbonated syrup.

 

found some APW yesterday

 

overall, i think PF is the better beer but this batch of APW smokes the most recent batch of PF. one idiot‘s thoughts. cheers!

 

That's how I felt too.. Panzerwolf hit the spot this year

 

this was solid! i wasn’t sure if this would be too much for me, but the coconut addition works. cheers!!
