I bought a few packs in Asheville, NC 3 weeks ago. It still has not hit my neck of the woods in TN. No where to been found.

Picked up two 4-packs today at $13.99 at a local Specs (liquor/wine/beer store) in Austin.

Definitely a good price as always so I was tempted to get more and still may depending on how good the first bottle that I open fares compared to past years.

I know of a store "over the border" in New York state that has it now. But going to wait until this weekend to see if Connecticut finally gets their shipment to pick up a 4 pack.

Didn't buy any bottles of BCBS this year, but I'm definitely not going to ignore Willettized as well, especially for its very reasonable price.

Yeah, this one is drinking quite nicely. Maybe just my palate, but this seems a little "smoother" than prior years? Not sure, but I typically find it a little rough around the edges, not necessarily the worst way, but this year's seems a have slightly softer flavor profile to me. Either way, I'm really enjoying it.

I may indeed have to go back and get more, though I also just saw that a local shop got Wookie Jack in so I have some tough decisions to make...

Edit: I'm also getting pretty decent lacing on my glass, seemingly contrary to others.

My strong guess is that this was bottled last spring (March?). Maybe the "smoother" you are noticing is from bottle aging? Do you recall how fresh your past drinking experiences were with this beer?

    Cheers!

I think you might be onto something. Willetized never sticks around very long after it hits shelves here, so I'm typically purchasing it as soon as I see it, which historically would have been much closer to the actual bottling date. I typically consume them not too long after purchasing, so I've never given them a chance to age in the bottle for any significant period of time.

Maybe this "blunder" by Lagunitas worked out pretty well for them, at least from my palate's perspective.

Saw it at the local Safeway the other day. I really don't enjoy boozy beers anymore so I walked right on past it. I will purchase a single if I happen to see one.

I don't agree. I had a 2020 today and it was more agressive than the 2022 . Bottle aging is a buncha fairy tales

Finally picked some up today. The closest place to me that had it was a 45 minute drive each way, an hour and a half round trip. Total Wine and More had it, for $11.99 a four pack.

Since I had a couple of other things which I could do in that area I decided to make the trek and pick up some Willettized while out and about. Overall it's about how I remember it from the previous Willittized incarnations, although maybe slightly smoother.

Certainly it's worth the asking price. Still one of the best bang for your buck deals going.

Happened to grab a single of this earlier today. Surprised a 4-pack was around $12-$13. Seems VERY reasonable. Might try it later today.

$12.50 at the typically overpriced Market of Choice in Bend, OR today. Tastes great.

They only had singles on the shelf. When the guy got me a 4pk from the walk-in, I heard him say to another clerk as I walked away, "Damn, that's a hell of a deal."

    Indeed.
