Yeah, went last weekend for the first time (right after a Tributary stop haha) and I was also really impressed. Really nice space, didn’t hurt that it was 70 and they have the tables that are basically half outside.

The dark was incredible, one of if not the best I’ve had and I ended up buying a 12 pack and having it elsewhere in Portland. I enjoyed the light, but I would be more hesitant to give it the instant best ranking. No shame in that of course.

Do hope lunch happens at some point.

Are they serving oysters? I remember some of the original social media imagery said "fresh oysters," "cold lager," and "warm hearts." I've looked at the online menu a couple times and haven't seen oysters. (Never doubted that cold lager and warn hearts would be available).

Damn I didn’t think they had any MTL left so I skipped a stop at Tributary last weekend!

They were not when I was there a few weeks ago. Was definitely looking forward to oysters and lagers, so hopefully next time.

Went to Sacred Profane yesterday. I feel like I had set expectation pretty high for their two beers and I can safely say they met and exceeded them. I think I was vibing a bit more with the Pale versus the Dark but both beers are so beautiful. I brought a 12 of both back. Their distributor happened to be there and some hubbub was made about going with a Budweiser distro, but I think the distro understands what they have in Sacred Profane. I am excited to see what Brienne, Mike, and their partners do with this place.

I think their investors are former AB folks. Also, National Distributing is still a great local company.

Are 12 packs out in the wild right now? I will be in Kittery this weekend and, if I am able, I’d like to find some SP.

Last post about cans being in the wild was 11/12. I would message them on Instagram if you have it/use it. My experience is they are super responsive there and could maybe point you in the right direction for some cans other than at the tankpub.

@Stormfield second this. I believe I saw a place in Kittery on the list of places it was headed, but I would reach out via DM on instagram. They will respond and even if you have to drive a town or two north, it's worth it

I’ve always thought Banded did lagers well. It would be awesome if this hit distro.

I’ll be in Portland in January so here’s hoping this one is still kicking around.

I think I’m going to give my Christmas Eve guests (or, at the very least, the guests who drink beer) the option of only Light or Dark beer, which means I must — twist of arm — head there tomorrow for a purchase.

And if they don’t want that, there will be a Christmas Cocktail.

If you have both the Pale and Dark a third option is a řezané pivo. I enjoyed the one I drank at the U Buldoka Pub in Prague:

Milk pour with a shot of Allen’s coffee brandy (an Allan’s and Milk) for the win.

Stopped by yet again on Sunday, what an awesome place. Just a quick stop in with my buddy before heading up to Allagash for a tour. Got a pour of Dark and split the poutine

I plan on swinging through in January when I'm up in Portland. Pretty excited given the great reviews from all you lager heads.

I’m headed to York tomorrow on an errand. Are the cans seeing distribution anywhere in the general York area?
