Dovetail, Metropolitan, Goldfinger, Kinslahger, Roaring Table...are there other lager-centric breweries like these that I am not including?

Great Central Brewing Co. located near Goose Island Fulton makes great lagers. They also contract brew for several breweries, including Kinslahger and Maplewood and have enjoyed the several lagers I've tried from them.

Elmhurst Brewery has Amberama Amber Lager. 5.3% ABV & 28 IBU

    2022 GABF Bronze Medal Winner.

I had a couple of them during my last visit. Easy drinker and well executed.

I wouldn’t call roaring table lager-centric. They’ve produced nearly every style under the sun in their first 5 years. They certainly are lager enthusiasts though.

Other breweries I think fit that lager enthusiast category - Maplewood, Half Acre, Rev, Spiteful, Crystal Lake, Riverlands, Phase Three, Old Irving, and I’m sure there are plenty more im missing

Speaking of HA, they just released a Schwarzbier which should be hitting stores this week (limited distro it seems).

One Lake Brewing in Oak Park, Dark Czech Lager along with their American Premium Lager are great. Definitely worth a trip to their awesome tap room (in a old bank building on the corner of Lake Street and Austin).

Also a shout out to Imperial Oak in Brookfield for their Brixie’s Lager and their Helles Belles Munich Helles Lager. Have a couple brews and then hit Galloping Ghost.

Kinslagher brews some great stuff. Their Babygold pils (collab with Fitzgeralds down the street) and their Val's Halla Lager (famous record store in Oak Park) are great.

Having the Half Acre Schwarzbier right now and it's fantastic.

Cocoa, mild oak-y notes and a hint of...allspice? Can't quite put my finger on it but I'm loving this like I'm recording a McDonald's jingle.

Riverlands Riverlander Pils was really good yesterday morning while watching USA Netherlands

West coast pilsner is more pale ale than pilsner. Nothing to write home about, but I’m rarely into this style

After seeing some positive comments on Wenceslas (Czech Dark Lager) from Art History, picked up a 4pk from a local Binny's. Enjoying it very much. The other three cans will certainly not be sticking around long.

AH Wenceslaus was a beer that I enjoyed immensely last year! This year it's Half Acre Schwartzbier...

Our Binny's only got one case of Wenceslas -- picked up one of the 2 last 4-packs today. Happy weekend to me.

Rock of Ages from Church Street and Art History is a home run.
