Visiting LA for the next few days, specifically West LA. Anything get released recently that folks would recommend. Love big dark beers, but open to any. Live in the Bay, so SoCal beers ideally or things that don’t make it up north. cheers!
Don't know how distro looks in your are - but If looking for bottle Logic Or Fremont - Total Wine locations should have a bunch.
Depending on where in WestLA you are you might try stopping into Hi-Lo in Culver City, they don’t have the hugest selection but have some good stuff. Or if you can make it to Torrance, Smog City Brewing should have a few good dark/barrel-aged options available.
El Segundo Brewing Co just released two perpetually underrated BA barleywines, and they typically have a BA stout on draft as well.
