Hitting Tewksbury on the way home for a 2 minute can pickup is the best deal now. The cam line in Charlton was other worldly bad.

Also excited for tent pours at Tewksbury somewhere between the 6-10th

I have found the easier work around for this is to have them send me their confirmation email when the receive it. That way I can just check in both of us when I arrive...

    From https://tewksburycarnation.org/2022/12/21/10-takeaways-from-the-dec-20-select-board-meeting/ :

    >The idea is to open daily except Tuesdays from Jan. 6 through Feb. 9, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m, noon to 10 p.m. on Sundays. The licensed premises will be a temporary tent, with maximum occupancy of 298 between the tavern and tent on the patio adjacent to the McDonald’s lot line. There will be “a very strict” three beer maximum, said Maggi Morin.

Neither myself or my wife would be happy about the late night ER trip.

The first thing I did when I arrived was head to the to go line to check out what mags they had left. Vhhh was obviously gone, my second choice was Tree of light, it was one of two they had left. When they brought it out, I was stunned by the physical size of the 750. It’s been so long since I’ve purchased one, the fact that it’s a ba barleywine is satirical. I took it to the car because I wasn’t going to lug it around while I had three pours and a bunch of samples from their distillery program.

anyways, I have no idea what I’m going to do with it, but I do love the fact that it may sit for quite some time before it’s opened. Its really out of my hands, there will be very few moments in my life when a 750 ba bw will call to be opened, but when that moment arrives, Tree of light will be there in spades

    I also love that it’s b1

It may also stun you to learn that the bottle is twice as big as you think it is! 1.5 L, as opposed to 750 ml.

    Good luck!

Stopped at Deerfield on Thursday, hoping to get pours with my wife, but we were told the line for drinks was at least an hour! We got a to go order, but were pretty disappointed we couldn’t grab a beer. But no way was I waiting 1hr+ for a beer. I know it is vacation week and it was mid-afternoon, but this was not what we were expecting. The only other times I’ve been there for pours, I went at open and didn’t have to wait at all. So maybe this is the norm?

Happy to report that Very Sappy and Trail Motueka are both great!
