Colby Cox and Gavin Fine, co-founders of the Roadhouse Brewery Co., signed the final paperwork to purchase Melvin Brewing at the Roadhouse Pub & Eatery last week.

“It came down to the wire to get it done in 2022, but everyone on both sides worked nights, weekends and around the clock to pull it together,” Cox said.

The signatures mark a new era for the Roadhouse and Melvin breweries.

Does this mean I can buy Melvin beer (not that many places carry it any longer up here after their shenanigans) without feeling dirty?

I'm taking the opposite approach; Roadhouse is now added to the list of breweries I won't buy, even if I see them, just because that Melvin stink will spread. Shoulda just let Melvin die, and then buy the stuff at auction.
