Perhaps something released on tap only? For me, it was Barrel Aged Sodom, the Revolution/FFF collaboration. God that was good. Et tu, BAs?

One-off? King Henry. Tap-only? Hmmm...whatever it was, it wasn't as good as the King.

the best one that comes to mind is a mild sleeper, captain lawrence (imperial) smoke from the oak rum barrel aged. honestly, had a lot of "wow, this is a perfect beer!" moments while drinking that one.

great as it was, i'm fairly certain that there have been one offs by people like cambridge brewing company, founders, alchemist, firestone walker, lost abbey, russian river, allagash, cantillon, captain lawrence themselves, and several others that i would like more. and not like, "5 gallon amazing test batch that 10 people tasted," one-offs or "trade your whole cellar for this beer," one-offs, but realistic-to-obtain beers that i just didn't get to taste from those breweries.

still, most of my favorite beers are not one-offs.

Pizza Port Bagby's Last Stand was a recent favorite. A crazy blend of a bunch of barrel-aged beers from each of the Port breweries to commemorate Jeff Bagby leaving the company. Rich, complex, and delicious.

Another favorite was Deschutes' Date Night. Holy cow was that beer good...I can't believe they didn't bottle it!!! Chocolate, dates, figs, pomegranate and hibiscus in a huge imperial porter. Definitely one of the best beers I've had that few other people have tried.

Left Hand Fade To Black Volume 1.. it's world-class IMHO, and easily the best thing I've had from Left Hand..

LEFT HAND: Please brew this again!

I assume that an anniversary beer counts as a one off. This is my favorite of the series and one of my all-time favorites.

Has to be Maclay's Tam O'Shanter Ale from January 1995.
Just slightly closer to home my last attempt at brewng an old ale (which I callled 'Zimian'), something I know I could never hope to re-create again, was pretty good too...

I can't remember. If I answer this right now I'd say I only had one-offs from Sixpoint, and only after they've gone downhill(after #2 or 3). I'll have to get back to you.

More Brown Than Black was a recent one-off favorite. As for recent tap only one-offs Fathead's X-Hop, CCB SMaSH Kohatu, and Coronado's Baby Idiot come to mind.

Really the only one off that instantly comes to mind is King Henry. As for draft only, I live in Santa Rosa, so I've had quite a few draft only beers and Russian River that were awesome. Younger and Mortification are at the top of that list.
