This one is good. From the can. Smells like you took some hop cones and crushed them up and smelled your hands. Hop flavor is mild but there. Citra and Amarillo. Not getting Citra and not sure what Amarillo is like. Either way I’m enjoying this. Called sparkling water it’s really seltzer with hops. Easy to drink and I think I paid $8 a six pack. Will go back to this one. Zero ABV, Zero fat and carbs. Canned 14 December 2022.

Reminds me of a low ABV IPA session. Bit dry in the finish. I could drink these all summer outside.

Hope I get the new photo posting done correctly.

    Enjoy

I thought hop splash was good but if you enjoyed it I would really recommend Lagunitas hop water, that stuff is killer. I don't recall if hop splash has yeast in it the way lagunitas does, maybe that's the difference. Give it a try though, really really good. Same macros.

This one has no yeast. I had Lagunitas in my hand but since it’s basically a hop drink I put it back due to an old canning date. Are the bottles and cans the same? The Lagunitas N/A IPA was old too.

Thanks for the info. Need to find some that’s fresh.

As this SN warms a bit the hops are coming out much more.

    Enjoy

Sucks they were old. I think the Lagunitas cans may be more cost effective, so I'd try to buy those when I see them. I've actually never had the Lagunitas N/A IPA, I see mixed reviews so I've skipped it. The Lagunitas Hop Water everyone seems to agree is quite tasty! If you happen to try that as well, I'd be curious to hear which you preferred between SN and Lagunitas hoppy waters. Cheers!

They had this on draft at the Mills River location last summer and everyone in my party enjoyed this (including my wife who does not like IPAs at all). Perfect on a really warm afternoon/evening after spending the day at a horse show.

That is due to the US TTB having slightly different labeling rules for "Non-alcoholic" and "Alcohol Free" cereal beverages.

That "article / ad" is behind a WP paywall - read here more about Al's Classic

    https://www.drinkals.com/pages/about-us

Also posts 31 - 35 on the first page of this thread for more about this great NA brew - I rate it as one of the best (out of 13 I have tried) NA beers out there - but not easy to find locally.

I h've had that one and agree with your comments. I paid around $17 for a 6-pack but I don't recall if tax and deposit were in that cost.

I thought this one was surprisingly alright the one time I had it. Had a touch of hop aroma and taste to it as I recall which was probably helped by it being a pretty fresh bottling, having only just started selling here at the time. I had it with dinner though which tends to help these NA beers, the body tends to be less of an issue when you want something to quench the thirst with first and foremost. Not sure how it would fare as a stand alone beverage but whatever flavors and aromas were there I enjoyed.

Here's my review written last weekend.

14.9 ounce nitro widget can stamped L22286E005 poured into a tulip pint glass at fridge temp >0.5% ABV per label. The beer pours identical to a Guinness Draught with a slow cascade of tight khaki colored head eventually filling the glass with opaque black liquid. The aroma is that familiar charred, dark chocolate roasted malt. The taste is lightly bittersweet with more unfermented caramel wort poking through the dark chocolate notes. Mildly bitter. The mouthfeel is a bit watery from the lack of alcohol and the nitro. Otherwise, it's thin bodied with the expected nitro feel and a mostly dry finish. Overall, one of the best NA beers I've tried, which is surprising as I don't care for Guinness Draught.

I won't hesitate to pick this one up again when I'm going through a "dry" spell.

As I shared in the below post I don't really need to do Dry January this year but I haven't had a single drink yet this month and since here we are halfway through already I'm just going to continue on:

Dry January (2023): Who is going dry, and why?

I was in the mood for something beer flavored so I picked up the Brooklyn Brewery Special Effects NA Variety Pack and so far I have tried the IPA and the Hoppy Amber. On the thinner side which I expected but the HA was the better of the two for my palate and reminded me of Brooklyn Lager; I am looking forward to trying the other two.

    Pils - 80 calories, 17g carbs
    IPA - 80, 17g
    Hoppy Amber - 95, 17g
    Hazy IPA - 80, 17g

All have 1.5g of protein and 0.0g of fat.

Same thing happened to me which is interesting considering I buy Kombucha regularly and was doing so in the same purchase and it contains about the same amount of alcohol.

The only one I've ever had, and probably the last. I'd rather have a craft root beer.[IMG]

Not good. Cross posted in WBAYDN. From the can. No carbonation, faint orange lemon citrus smell. Even as this warms up there is almost no taste. Drinks like a can of tap water with an old lemon slice in it. Five more to go, will try from a glass next time. My wife says she is going to add OJ to the SN Hop Water and make a hazy. Hope it works but I don’t like hazy juice.

Sticking to Hop Water till I find a spot that sells singles.

    Enjoy

I've been trying out a bunch of the Untitled Art NA beverages as a way to break things up. They currently ship for free on orders above $40.

So far, I've enjoyed American Gold (35 calories) and Citra Session (70 calories) quite a bit. No, they are not the real thing, but for what they are, they're pretty good with a nice hop flavor and undercurrent of malted barley.

I'll have to try out the Guinness 0 next time I see it.
