Dammit I missed it! The release I’ve been waiting for months. Stupid work got in the way at 7 am, was still able to get it into the cart, but when I paid it was gone

anyone know if they’ve put dupes back for sale? Or once it’s sold out it’s done?

Seems like it was a luck of the draw thing as to who got fatally held up by the queue- I didn’t check out until 9:03 but have seen many who went into the queue at 9:01 never get to complete their order.

Guess my purchase on the premium bots to grease the wheels helped lol!

 

Pretty impressive that this stuff is selling out in a couple minutes when I can still grab any BCBS variant I want straight off a liquor store shelf. Not a slight at GI, but Rev is clearly keeping the hype train going strong.

 

While I was lucky to get through, in future I hope all VSOJ related releases are no-proxy.

 

Per their Insta they will have a limited amount of 4pks available to go at the Brewpub on Friday at noon.

 

You can also get any non-VSOJ deep wood release straight off any liquor store shelf.

And they were discounting 2021 Deep Woods if you bought in bulk over Christmas.

 

Production scale is also vastly different lol.

I was on it right from the get go and went straight to never-ending checkout load screen. Oh well, fuckin way she goes!

 

Added to my cart right as 9:00. Within 45 seconds I selected check out. Shopify wanted to verify my account with a text as I was verifying my address and info. I verified myself with their code. Then Shopify sent me back to the waiting in line page. Somehow I managed to sneak out a purchase.

there was an unusual amount of people on fb for this release promoting themselves as potential proxies. Multiple posts from the same people. I think Rev should cap proxy capabilities like SP

 

This was my experience as well.

 

Normally if I had four of a beer a small part of me would want the secondary value to go crazy so I could maybe trade some for something good from out of state but Rev has been so great at keeping their quality high without insane hype that I never want them to get caught up in that

 

Bet everyone who missed out wishes they switched the DBVSOJ to two packs now!

 

Or limit one 4pk? That’s what they did for the “regular” vsoj last year with no proxy

 

One or the other, either one pack limit with proxy or 2 pack limit without...It could've lasted 8 minutes that way.
