Where exactly? My local beer store (Towamencin Beverage / CJs bottle shop in the Lansdale area) usually has Maine Beer Company bottles. I picked up a bottle of MO Pale Ale a few weeks ago. Not sure about Old Tom, but Ive seen it in the past.
I'm in Doylestown area. Regionally served by B & B Beverage. Old Tom is a Britsh "strong ale" brewed by Robinson Brewing Company. Would you say that Towamencin exerts any effort to locate a hard-to-get beer for you? Personally, I don't know anything about them. Thanks. Hot Ajax
I haven't seen Old Tom in ages. Robinson's has basically turned into the Iron Maiden brewery as far as imports into the US go.
My bad, I realized the Maine Beer Company beer that I was thinking of is actually named Mean Old Tom. As for asking about custom orders, I've never tried. Perhaps you can find out who the Importer is, and then who the regional wholesaler distributor is (if any) How does Old Tom compare to Samuel Smith Yorkshire Stingo? I used to see that one around, and really enjoyed it.
Importer is Artisanal Imports in Texas and, yeah, just the heavy metal brands are listed as currently exported to the US. https://artisanalimports.com/portfolio/robinsons/
