I would need a lot more medication to be a stay at home dad.

Where’s the best place to park for visiting the brewery/taproom? I’ve always either taken a Lyft or done a quick pickup, so I’ve somehow never had to look for parking

If you're lucky, on the street across the street.

street parking is pretty easy on either Kedzie or the side streets. You should have no problems finding a spot within a block.

I know someone planning on going from one ticket to two so I think there may be some (though also non renewals as well)

I like the side streets between Rev and Honey Butter Fried Chicken (get those tenders to go too!)

If you knew me, you'd know two people planning on adding a second ticket.

If anyone goes to The Open Bottle for Bomber Jacket today, I’m curious to hear your thoughts!

Any chance anyone has seen any random shops that still have Cuvee De Grace? Looking to track it down. Thanks!

So was Bomber Jacket any different from Straight Jacket?

"Bomber Jacket is a single barrel expression of Revolution’s Straight Jacket Barleywine Ale selected by The Open Bottle. It was aged in a Willett Bourbon Barrel for 14 months. Prior to barrel-aging, it was aged on French oak cubes in the fermenter to amplify notes of oaky vanilla and crème brûlée."

That isn’t what I was asking. I can say a piece of dog poo tastes like chocolate but it doesn’t mean that it does. I’m asking if it people who drank it noticed a discernible difference or if just tasted like Straight Jacket.

Haven't tried it yet, but have a bottle. Isn't SJ a blend of all the barrels they fill? Wouldn't a single barrel taste different than the blend?

Having Bomber Jacket now, the nose is incredible after it warms up and they definitely nailed the creme brulee description you also get more Oak and burnt sugar flavors than regular SJ,as far as being better, if you like your Barleywines on the sweeter side stick with regular if you like more Oak then Bomber Jacket is worth a try.

I would agree with this assessment.
