I get it. Not quite my MO, which is simply that I like trying new beers and breweries and keeping up with them so I don't drink a "bad" beer twice. But I get it. Sort of like you, I do feel an obligation to start most evenings by reviewing a "new" (to me) beer when I have an excessive backlog in the beer fridge. And I very much enjoy settling in with an old favorite at any time. In fact, just yesterday I was fondly remembering the early days of COVID when I found myself drinking a lot of our top, local DIPA (Southern Prohibition's Crowd Control), because of lack of access to new beers for a number of reasons, primarily limited travel.

I also have found myself drinking some bourbon (and now scotch) these days, possibly partly due to all the barrel-aged beers.

    Cheers!
