Any one try the Barrel Crush Cold Brew? The Barrel Kiss is the best coffee I’ve had from Tree House yet and this one sounds interesting.

I have. It's good coffee, but I think I'm not enough of a coffee connoisseur to pick up the nuances.

Hoping it sticks around to grab some this weekend. Their cold brew had become a go to for me, it’s exciting to see them try different things with it.

It seems like this was fairly hyped when it first came out years ago based on some of the reviews. Does anyone recall?

It was. This has been a long-time favorite of the Curiosity series, along with C27 which was sorta kinda maybe billed as "double C22". It'll be interesting to see if this one tastes as I remember.

I basically never bought the Curiosity series until they started revisiting some lol

Curiosity 22 was my favorite from Monson. I was able get a case and enjoyed every one while they lasted. I picked up 8 of yesterday’s release. The hops are a little green so I’m gonna sit on them for a week or 2.

I'm visiting tree house for the first time soon (Tewksbury) and have some questions. Can I buy cans to go in person there or do I have to place an order online in advance? Is there any way to see when the beers were canned?

You need to buy cans on your phone or using the POS system in the taproom (definitely use your phone though, it's easier). You need to pick the time for the window when you'll pick them up, so watch for that.

This isn't perfect for dates, but it might help. This is not my spreadsheet, but I've found it useful before: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...xrEYUYJEVTCcGfs1eUDftFJ6KUA/edit?usp=drivesdk

That said, I went on a warmish crowdedish Saturday, and when I ordered on my phone it took about ten minutes until my beer was loaded in my trunk, so not too terrible.

Also, the Twitter ‘@TreeHouseBrewCo’ and also the Instagram page ‘Treehousereleases’ are pretty helpful for release dates (beers are usually out day or two after canning). The only ones that are hard to get a peg on for can dates are the core beers but the point is that those usually go fast. I have seen some people complain about getting ‘old’ core beers that are canned 2-3 weeks ago. These people are lunatics.

I have been really enjoying the new Treehouse videos on YouTube. I have been brewing beer for 30 years and seeing the inside of a state of the art brew house is inspiring to me. I hope this content appeals to everyone so @DigitalNate can keep cranking them out.

Tewksbury was really chill today from about 11-12:45. Then it certainly filled up. Pink is absolutely fantastic. Fun to see lights on again, but it doesn’t have the impact it once did. Really enjoyed some of the ladies can pour of Eternity.

But, we both have to say.

The Barrel crush cold brew. That shit tastes like medicinal no no. That was horrible. Maybe there is a segment that find some weird enjoyment out of the barrel nuances but we both agreed that was a mistake purchase. One almost worth begging for a trade back! Their other cold brews have all been spot on. Buyer beware. And I have tried and made as much cold brew as humanly possible since my friends coffee shop showed me it in the late 90’s

Hmm, I guess thats the bitters giving off that note. I honestly did not get that in the one can I had. I thought the citrus note was nice and played up that thread from the coffee. Now I will probably be looking a medicinal flavor the next can I have haha.

On a beer note, C22 is a fantastic classic TH IPA. Very happy picking that up.
