I can be loquacious if so inclined.
But I appreciate the kindness. You seem quite the agreeable fellow as well. Cheers to you, sir! :beers:

I have had it, I enjoy it. I really like dopplebocks. As much as I love Celebrator and Ayinger Andechs dopplebock and Korbinian are my go tos. They are all even better on tap. Cheers!

One more, I suppose. F*ck it!
I think I'll enjoy this one out on the porch. It's still a bit chilly, but that sunshine feels glorious.

It’s been about forever since I had any Elysian, which was one of the brewery that our friend @Lingenbrau really liked, along with other OR or WA people. Has it hold up to it’s good reputation over the years, quality wise?

Equally appreciated! Beer makes me and others happy and there’s no other explanation. cheers!

    1) Toppling Goliath Celestial Paradox (7.8% canned 11/11/22):
A NEIPA from Iowa with Simcoe, Strata, Citra, Galaxy for flavors of tropical passionfruit, sweet orange, and cantaloupe.
    versus
    2) Falling Knife Crown Shy (8.5% canned 11/11/22): A NEIPA from Minnesota with Citra and Strata for flavors of grapefruit citrus, zesty pineapple, some lightly vinous yeast. Dry and clean. (Both correctly matched blind)

    Winner:
    2) Falling Knife Crown Shy:
Both drink well here and I think it comes down to preference. Hard to beat Toppling Goliath, but props to Falling Knife for making some quality here, as I haven't always been impressed with their NEIPAs in the past. This one drinks zesty yet dry. Nice combo of Citra and Strata. More carbonation and less sweet than Celestial Paradox. I really wanted to like Celestial Paradox more, but for Toppling Goliath, it has seemed pretty average.

Oh yeah? You were hyping your move to Cali pretty heavily on here. And you were supposed to make a big announcement.

    I'm not making stuff up.

I should probably drink this more often. I'm not sure what is happening here. Maybe it's the west coast air. I might have to drink a hazy next to make sure I'm OK. Peace...

You seem overly occupied by this, sir. Obviously, I'm in Cali. I recall saying that I would unveil everything when I'm comfortable.

When is it that we can't just be happy for the next person? I was retired. I did nothing but drink and hang out for the past 5 years. I pursued beer because I felt it was my true calling. The old adage of do something you love and you'll never work a day in your life.

This is a gentle reminder that I should keep my excitement to myself moving forward. Peace...

    P.S. I still love everyone.

I seem to be drinking Akron (OH) based beers today - this one - Thirsty Dog's Wulver - has to be one of the best beers in Ohio and/or the Midwest - truly excellent and brewed like 5 miles away from me! Awesome beer!

Just wrapped up work for the day, having a Jenni Cream Ale from Bay State Brewing - roughly 6.5 miles from my house.
