Of the options, I'd probably go out of my way to go to High Street and grab some Gracenote. Most days, I'm making coffee at home and bringing it in. I haven't been to Tatte much since they were bought by Panera.

Looks Tewksbury open inside for draft based on the IG stories?

Well as long as you are not going to Starbucks. Luckily I have La Colombe available on my floor when I am in the office, that will work for me if I need to grab a coffee.

High Street Place has been a great addition to the Financial District. Though my wallet (and waistline) might disagree.

Can confirm from the brewery and my neighbor who works with the city that the Portsmouth location was a failure. The current shit head builders working on the location ran out of money. Essentially told the brewery if you want it you will need to pay for it. To which they said hell no if we don’t own it. So that one is scrapped. Which sucks as it was literally 4 minutes from my house.

I did hear rumblings about a potential Portland location. Brewery also confirmed to me that they should have an announcement about expansion any day now. We will just have to see what happens.

I basically only go there for breakfast (bagel from Mamalehs, coffee from Gracenote) so I've luckily avoided those expenses. I don't walk by it every day like I used to when I walked from South Station to the office. That's helped.

Passion King Creamsicle is alright. I’m admittedly not getting much vanilla (King Creamsicle was perfect there) and the passionfuit adds some kind if strange dank/onion aftertaste to me. So far I can say that Guava and Passionfruit are my least favorite fruit adjuncts they use. Peach, mango, and pineapple have been great

I know, right? Enough with the frigging guava already! What, did they accidentally buy the entire Central American 2022 harvest or something?

On general principal, I despise the idea of fruit in my beer. But I have kind of quietly enjoyed some of the pineapple and peach. Don't tell anybody.

I drank a Very Green yesterday and a Juice Machine right now. Anyone else think that this so called “amazing” new crop of Galaxy is not that great? I get a pretty harsh note at the end. I can’t really say anything other than it tastes “woody” and sharp. JM is normally super VELVETY. I went there.

Periodic complaint of only being allowed to buy 4 packs. I get that this is probably first world problems. But they spoiled us for years doing singles. I am perusing the page considering a run up to Tewksbury but every time I look at all the stuff I would like to try I can't justify that many 4 packs and get frustrated and wind up not going. Haha. This happens all the time. Anytime I do go I wind up with beers in the back of the fridge for months. I, for one, would go a lot more often if I could even do 2 packs. And I would probably buy a lot more beer each time I go as I could try different things. I can't commit to a 4 pack of Wafflebanger or Breakfast Juice, although I would love to try them. Aaanyway, rant over I suppose.

I still think the logistics of having humans package singles, when they have 70-100 different can+bottle options, is too much. I could be wrong.

    But it wasn't pre-pandemic?

No, not even close. In 2019, they would have had roughly 15, maybe 20 types of cans available, no bottles at all most of the time, no canned coffee, no distillery, etc.

TH Charlton has 19 different bottles available right now. That's more than they had different cans pre-pandemic. They have 35 different offerings of spirits and canned cocktails. That number was zero before. You get the idea.

I did a VT trip recently and drove through at Deerfield on the way home. I bought maybe ~10 four packs of pale ales—but I either split them with someone else or just gave away 1-2 cans from each. Maybe find a friend or someone near you who likes TH and is willing to split the cost? Everyone wins!

I don't think that's a totally bullet-proof argument though..They do not use can holders of any kind so essentially they are likely not grabbing more than two cans of any one beer at a time.

I've dried that many times. It is a huge pain in the ass. No one wants the same shit and I wind up with even more unwanted beer.

I think the only solution is to find a buddy or two to split it with. I'm in a similar situation as you.
While I am very much a proponent of them going to singles again, I do think when they have 4x6 can holders, packing four at a time makes it easier. But then again, they also sell some beers in 2s....
