No pic, but had a New Belgium Snow Day since it snowed 3" unexpectedly here (Dallas). Pretty good timing if I may say so myself.

I had a 2010 Founders Nemesis which was good but I should of sat on it longer. Still too hot.

Fellas, the beer inside this little sweater of awesomeness is a Deschutes Jubelale. It's not the beer that makes a shit. It is the absolute wicked coolness of the gift my wife got me for Christmas. Now that is a wife who knows what her mans likes!

Finally back at home and settled after excellent Prime Rib dinner at my parents house, filled with some holiday punch and a couple Beefeater and Tonics. Now enjoying this! Merry Christmas and Cheers everyone.

For 16% you dont really taste too much booze and the taste is pretty good. Not sure if its a scotch ale but it defintely tastes like one

Favorite beer Aventinus with friends, inc. a dry-hopped cider that my significant other enjoyed. And then the 2007 Vintage Ale = incredible proof of the virtues of cellaring even after moving from CA to TX. Next up the Partridge in a Pear Tree...in several years. [IMG][IMG]

Merry Christmas! Family converged in our home. Started with FBS moved on to Westvleteren XII (thanks Libbey) then Old Raspy XIV then Humulo Nimbus with a bottle of a Willamette Valley Luminous Hills Pinot Noir with dinner. Time for bed yet?

I'm hoping my bottle of Hoppin' Frog Barrel Aged Frosted Frog is good. I didn't care for the regular Frosted Frog much at all (that I've had in the past), and was hoping the barrel aging helped it some. I'll likely end up drinking it sometime this week and hope for the best!
