Haha I should have known. Charles said they had some more uberkind if you're still stocking up. We need to meet at nobi some time. I shared my sriracha session stout with the gang there last night. Thumbs up all around.

I got 4, traded one off and about to trade another. I also have a few on hold around town.

Azzy if you need a bottle I think between myself and the other few offers in this thread you can easily get 2-3. I am in League City and going to be busy until next week or so, but I have no problems holding one for you.

WFM Kirby still has Funk Metal in the back. All WFM are still waiting on authorization for Das Uberkind--that's why you haven't seen it at any locations yet. Virtuoso is just sitting on WFM's allocations because they can't sell it to us yet.

Tried El Cedro at the Draught House last night. Plenty of citrus hops up front and finishes with plenty of Brett. Reminded me a lot of Green Flash Rayon Vert, so fans of that beer get excited about this one.

Any cedar in the nose or taste?

I also had El Cedro... Citrus and hops with enough Brett to know it is there. Honestly didn't taste or smell too much cedar.

El Cedro seems a lot like the Cigar City cedar saison which I loved. Interested to try this new JK brew as uge.

No hardly any cedar. JK was a lot better than that Cigar City Dos Costas Cedar which was overcarbed and just too much wood.

    Tee hee!

Hope to try the Cedro soon.

Has anyone had this and Bitter Monk that can compare them?

Should be around plenty of places. I think a number of retailers haven't even gotten it yet.

It's got the souring profile I think you like...not chemical at all to me. Much more like Das Wunderkind batch 1

Aw. Seth. Feel your pain & hope it doesn't happen to me. I'm flying home tomorrow (from DC) with a beer trade connection in Nashville. Y'all, cross your fingers for me.

Damn... That Funk Metal and Das Uber did a number to my stomach.

If you have acid reflux problems beware consuming so much of this liquid goodness...
