Didn't come upon the variety pack, but picked up a sixer of Zombie Ice today (canned 13 Feb). If FFF asked me what I would want in a 2x Zombie Dust and I then drank this beer, I would say, yes, that's it. That's what I want in a 2x Zombie Dust. Great beer. FFF nailed it imo.

I grabbed a variety pack, cracked open a Jinx Proof for the first time, and was instantly mad that 1) I never tried this before and 2) it's only available in these packs atm. Exactly what I wanted out of a FFF lager.

I would almost say every FFF Lager is what I want from a FFF lager.

I think they’re as good as just about anyone, and that’s going back to their early days. They’ve been big on traditional German styles since the beginning.

How about the War Pigs A Light in the Black? Picked that up with my Zombie Ice variety pack today.

Has anyone seen this at Binnys or any of the bottle shops? Not seeing it anywhere still...

I think it just arrived here in the southern Indiana/Louisville area. Seems like our distro hits on Tuesday or Friday.

I went to a bottle shop in Louisville just taking a shot in the dark that they'd have it and looked like they had a lot. Figured if it wasn't in yet I'd get some more behemoth. Grabbed a Zombie Ice stovepipe and Cocomungo

Maybe not as hot as the first few sips led me to believe.. also consider I'm still drinking through a straw but I can finally swish a beer around my mouth without burning my lip off.

Noticeable barrel though with the oak and the bourbon. Very similar to last year. The maple developes and lingers and lingers on the finish. Coconut is smooth. Nice bitter chocolate finish with the sweetness of the maple.

    Job well done.

3 months to Dark Lord Day. Let’s get those cold sores healed up before we start sharing cups….

For sure! Gorch Fock is great (if they ever release that one again) and Munsterfest is one of my favorite Oktoberfest beers.

I fell and busted my teeth out on the sidewalk last weekend and tore my lip up too. Anything that touched it burned like hell so I haven't been putting any cups to my lip and trying to avoid liquid hitting that area

Anyone f with any of the warpigs beers? We got their weizenbock and German pilsner at our local shop (divine huntress and a light in the black).

Both styles I enjoy so was curious if anyone has tried them

Gorch Fock is stupid good. Maybe this summer or fall to coincide with not-drunk monk and munsterfest

I wonder if it's tough to keep every single solid classic beer in rotation when they're pumping out quality new beers like mad?

Took forever to see Moloko again, not that I'm in love with it. Wigsplitter is on hiatus. Pride n Joy was gone for years. Jinx Proof gone for years. Brian Boru gone for years. Gorch Fock I think hit six packs once or twice.

I ain't mad at it but the lagers should get preferential treatment sometimes. Although High Speed Steel was a great addition.

Nevermind I'll let the masters work

I haven’t those, but Lazurite and Foggy Geezer are both solid and good choices (if I can find them relatively fresh)

Came in to echo these sentiments. What a beer. Don't see this one holding up well at all, but I can't believe we got it this fresh here on the east coast.

Consider it was packaged a month ago already...think it's holding up stellar. Reminds me of Fat Head's excellent WCIPA portfolio. Really crisp clean and zesty with a solid bitterness while not too potent.
