It's funny, I was just lookin at a bottle of fbs and read the logo, on the top in small white lettering, "Brewed by us. Enjoyed by everyone." Hmmm.

Got one bottle by accident. Brought it to a party that night and split it between three people as the last beer of the night. Because good beer is for sharing. I get my dose of KBS and CBS at EBF.

Boy, I really wish they'd expand production of the CBS. Or Hand of Doom.

On the topic of the Speedway--even the non-barrel-aged stuff is worthy of grabbing every time I see it. So much easier to get than these rare-as-gold beers, and just a hair breadths away from being as good. Like most high ABV stouts, I think it benefits from at least a few weeks of setting before you crack it.

They are better of not sending any if it is going to be this amount ... I don't even bother with special release beers anymore as there is sooooo much going on in the craft beer world. If you don't get it no big deal ... there are thousands of other beers to try.

I agree, feel bad for my craft salesman that he has to go tell all these accounts that buy literally hundreds of cases a year of founders and are now going to get 4-8 bottles of a limited release that they should be getting 5-10 cases of. The kicker is that founders could make plenty, but they choose not to.

My guess is that the lack of an infinite number of barrels has much more to do with that "choosing not to".

Yea, I'm not getting into a ******ed argument over this, that was just my opinion.

You can't make an argument to support yourself so you bail. So it is. Maybe next release you'll chill a bit and be less worried about breweries giving you a 'slap in the face'. Your words, not mine.

Really though? "Petulantly" twice in a single sentence? Almost as good as your failed use of "ad hominem" earlier in the thread. Try learning what you're talking about before making haphazard challenges. I'm not normally the grammar dork, but you're such an easy target. Very entertaining.

Sorry those of you who BM'd me and didn't get to that store early enough. Good luck in your future endeavors.

    -K.

Why not use the lovely ignore member feature of you guys can't help but argue? I've used it on one member and its been great not seeing their stupid posts every day!

That's precisely what I did (and said he should do) with my last post. It completely removes all posts/quoted replies and I no longer even see if/when he posts - pretty slick feature. Works for me!

Oh, come on- we're only at the "grammar police" stage. I was really hoping we'd at least briefly hit "internet tough guy"...

Picked up 2 bottles today at Liquors 44 in Hadley today. It seems a 2nd shipment went out today in the Amherst region.

Yeah, I saw him there (I was in the group of 6 or so people chatting in a circle by the front beer display). Was this the same person who had oh...10+ bottles of 75 minute in his carriage?

And some Raspy's too. That guys carriage was full.

Course, I'm present at every release too. I'm not a tool though (I was ALSO telling people they were out of KBS at 4:15, though not as an ass). That day I'd killed a few hours at Tenka enjoying unlimited sushi. Was actually hanging out in the parking lot waiting around 3:20 or so when I saw someone walk out with a bottle. I ran inside, then had to turn around and run back to my car as I'd left all my windows down! LOL

The present/parking lot comment can be clarified as I work roughly a 2 minute walk from Julio's. I guess the "I'm not a tool" comment comes off as toolish though. heh

Ha- now that's a spot I haven't heard about in years! Think I gotcha.

Still, gotta be nice being that close to one of the better beer stores in NE!
